DESCRIPTION:This event will be the first of its kind for Skiing is Believing. Since our organization was founded\, we have worked with over 75+ organizations in our community to implement our mission of promoting\, supporting & easing access to (SNOW) sports. The purpose of this event is to get all of our partner organizations\, of every type\, all in one room at the same time\, to network\, think\, create and also celebrate our accomplishments together over the years while looking ahead to an even brighter future!  ALL Skiing is Believing constituents are welcome to come: partner organizations\, non profit partners\, location partners\, independent coaches\, parents\, families and just general Skiing is Believing supporters. Food and drink will be available to attendees. This is a ticketed event but NOT a fundraiser. Tickets will help us cover SOME of the costs associated with the space rental plus the vendors. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a charitable evening in celebration of life and growth!\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nAll proceeds will be split between Local charities: \nCasa De Vida: The staff of Casa de Vida is here to support pregnant young women during this special and sometimes difficult time. We provide our residents with a safe home\, caring staff\, 24 hour supervision and assistance\, nutritious meals\, pregnancy and childbirth education\, social service assistance\, and so much more. Our goal is to build healthy families either by helping our residents to become the best parents possible or by supporting them in their efforts to find a loving\, adoptive family for their child. \nThe Reno Burrito Project: The Reno Burrito Project was created with the intention to feed and connect with the houseless population of Reno. We understand that beyond food\, people need genuine human connection to nourish them\, and that both of these may be difficult for folks to get on a regular basis. In addition to dedicating every weekend to cooking\, rolling\, and handing out 400-500 burritos and essential supplies\, we ask our volunteers to take the time to have sincere interactions with folks when we are out distributing. Taking the time to talk to folks can truly uplift them\, make them feel seen\, and also helps us to find out other potential needs that can be filled. This has enabled many of our volunteers to start their own projects\, such as creating hygiene kits\, cloth masks\, menstrual supplies\, clothing drives\, and even a laundry service.

DESCRIPTION:Experience 40+ craft beers (including 20+festival-exclusive variants w/ blueberries) at a beerfest benefiting Nevadan nonprofit Project REAL\n\n\n\n\n\nEVENT SUMMARY\nREAL Reno Rarities Doubled Up Beerfest is a unique beer event where each attendee receives two tasting glasses! \nWhy two glasses?! We’re glad you asked! \nEach brewery is providing two beers: A recurring seasonal beer \, and a festival-exclusive variant of that same beer. This year\, all variants will feature the festival challenge ingredient: blueberries! \nWith two glasses in hand\, you’re encouraged to compare & contrast your way through offerings from 20+ Nevadan brewing operations participating in the event. \nThis event is by and for the community\, with 100% of the proceeds being directed to the youth law education nonprofit organizing the event: Project REAL. \n  \nTICKETS | Get them HERE\nGeneral Admission : $35 each and include: \n\nGeneral admission to the event from 1pm-5pm\nTwo tasting glasses.\nUnlimited pours during the festival\n\n  \nVIP Tickets: $75 each\, and include \n\n12:30pm *NO WAIT* Early Entry to the festival\nUnlimited pours during the festival.\nTwo tasting glasses\, including a limited-edition VIP Taster\nACCESS to the next-day RARE BEER HOSTED bottleshare @ Huntsman Brewing*\n\n  \nVIP Bottleshare Details\nVIP ticket holders that have paid to attend the share do not need to bring their own bottles\, but are encouraged to do so. \nA number of RARE craft beer collectors and aficionado groups have donated over 50 rare bottles to serve as a starting point for the share. Up to 75 additional non-ticketed attendees may be invited\, but they will have a bottle-contribution requirement. \nTLDR :This will be an epic bottleshare you don’t want to miss\, and all for a great cause. Get tickets ASAP because they WILL sell out fast! \nThe VIP share is a private event that only VIP ticket holders and event staff will be able to attend. The share will take place on Sunday\, May 15 from 1pm until 5pm \nProject REAL will NOT be supplying any bottles for the bottleshare in compliance with local and state law. That being said\, our Senior Director will be driving up from Las Vegas and has stated he will be personally donating atleast one bottle per VIP ticket sold to the bottleshare.
